Gravy masters invade the Monkey Wrench

You could have a drink too, along with your gravy.

Because Louisville is weird, you don’t bat an eye when you hear about something called the First Annual Gravy Cup. The biscuits and gravy competition happened yesterday at the Monkey Wrench and I covered the fun for Metromix. Zach Fry organized and hosted the cup and got to taste all the gravy, too. As well as the gravy eating public. My son London went with me, but he didn’t try much gravy. However, he did enjoy the chocolate style. It’s better than it sounds.

Nestled in the Highlands, the Monkey Wrench seemed like the perfect venue for such an event. The crowded house couldn’t get enough and what you see here are outtakes from the competition. Between me and several other photographers, you’ll be able to see it all.
