Last night at the KFC Yum! Center, country music hitmaker and Hall of Famer George Strait came to sing many of his 70 number one hits during the Louisville stop of his “Cowboy Rides Away” tour. It’s said to be his last full tour and, after such a distinguished career his fans understood why while at the same time not wanting the ride to end.
I was there to cover the show for Louisville.com as a photographer. A lot of times, I’m shutterbug and reviewer, but on this night, I concentrated on the photos. Vince Gill, himself a country music Hall of Famer, opened the show and got the record-setting Yum! Center crowd going.
