Celebrating Christmas the Louisville party way

When Louisville parties at Christmas, the town throws down and I find it an honor to take my camera and document the action. The action all weekend  varied with the venue and the theme and Metromix sent me to cover quite a bit of it. The first came around Thursday at the Q’d Up Christmas event in which radio station Q103.1 put on a party that featured a performance by Rodney Atkins. You can find the full gallery here and a few outtakes below.

Then Friday I went to Phoenix Hill Tavern’s Rockin’ Music Wonderland.

They weren't sure they wanted a photo at first, then said yes.

The Rockin’ Music Wonderland had live music in three of the rooms and featured performances by Goldylocks, Two Pump Chump, Snow Black Sunday and more. In typical Phoenix Hill fashion, it rocked. Find those photos here and some outtakes below.

And what would a Christmas themed party weekend be without an Ugly Sweater Party. Sully’s Saloon at 4th Street Live held that one.

This one shouldn't have been an outtake because it's adorable.

As you can imagine, the ugly sweaters showed up all over the place at Sully’s. When you go to that update on Metromix, here, you’ll see plenty. In the meantime, check out the outtakes below. That party kept the Ville hopping.
